Bio"Is Malvern really necessary?" a passing traveler asks, peering at the sign indicating entrance into a small southeast Pennsylvania town.
"Yeah," says their traveling companion. "It has a wawa, and a train station, and tons of apartments. I think it's necessary just for the apartments."
"Yeah, but technically, Overbook has them too, and so does Valley Forge...I mean, by that logic, other than apartments, Malvern doesn't have anything worth seeing, and since other towns have apartments, that means Malvern is especially unimpressive."
The two travelers sat in their car while driving through the town, one grunting in annoyance every time there was a lineup at the stop sign while everyone there stopped. It didn't make much sense in their state, nor in any other state they had driven through recently.
"But if you go by your logic," said the second traveler. "Then no town is impressive, since most of them have just apartments and stores, and very rarely does a town have something epic and noteworthy,"
There was another pause, and the two travelers left Malvern and found themselves in Paoli, the next town over. "Good point," said the driver. "And maybe that makes all towns impressive."
"I like that thought better."
"Me too," agreed their second, as they continued their journey through Pennsylvania. "Me too."
